"Is THAT an HDTV in your Pocket? or are you just happy to see me..."
Why yes it is - and it's quite SHARP!

"LCD panel type 5 -- a 5-inch full HD (1,920 x 1,080) display packing a Retina-busting 443 ppi (just trumping LG's similar 440 ppi LCD). An outcome of its layer-reducing CG-Silicon technology, the smartphone-targeted screen goes into full-scale production this month and will be shown off at CEATEC Japan this very week."
Using a 1080p 5" telephone screen with the GH3 might be just the ticket for some of us seeking to do more with wifi on a great resolution phone as a pocketable monitor.
Hopefully, this panel tech eventually ushers in the next gen of 1080p small monitors for pro video use...
Aren't you happy to see it?
Lots of potential uses. I think automatically of the Oculus Rift, and it looks like I'm not the only one.

Is anyone here at PV going to be receiving a Rift in December? Any interest in VR here at PV?
Soz had to post this link also seeing as we love dynamic range.

The HDR footage of the welding arc is damn impressive and the mask looks badass. :)
