Yep, it was clear from the start, AVCHD is the standard thing. Even 2.0 version do not allow such bitrate.
What I understand, 50Mbps and 72Mbps bitrate it's not AVCHD, but MOV.

Bloom has updated his page with a BTS video. He also confirms that EX mode is still present, and suggests that it's better to use 1080p60 with MOV wrapper for better bit rate, due to AVCHD limitations.
The Slow / Fast-Motion Mode in Creative Video Mode enables slow-motion (40% / 48% / 80%) and fast-motion (160% / 200% / 300%), all in full HD.
This guys eliminated 48p :-)

Heh, anyone notice that the Canon 6D is placed higher on the front page news site of dpreview even though the GH3 was more recently posted? Olympus was knocked down too.
