Not really cheap, with $400 price, low resolution screen, and with quite a weight.

Reson why we see it is that 9.7" IPS screens are very cheap now. They are made for tablets (now, mostly Chinese).

Apart from the low-ish resolution (and the lack of SDI in-/outputs), this looks like a very good monitor. I must say I especially love that foldable sun-shade!

I realize 1024x600 isn't the highest of resolutions especially when scaling the GH2's 1080i output, but which external monitor would you suggest? It seems like this one is more then decent with its focus peaking, histogram functionality and HDMI/component outs.
