Wondering if anyone has tested this card with the GH2. According to this post, it tested up to 65Mbs read speed and 40Mbs write speed in CrystalDiskMark, which theoretically should let it run the highest bitrate patches. It also sells for about the same as the SanDisk Extreme Pro 64GB 95Mb/s cards.
This looks like the card I've been waiting for. Nice find. Hopefully someone here will validate the card using the GH2's highest bitrate hacks.
@proaudio4 I just ordered the 64 gig model which has the same specs. I'll see if it survives the Driftwood test from hell.
@peternap Thats some pretty bad news for the card. I was considering buying the 128GB one and giving it a try. Since its sold from Amazon, I could return it if it didn't work well. You never know, the 128GB may fare differently than the 64GB. I know for the Sandisk 95MBs cards, there is a difference between the 64GBs and 32/16/8GB cards. So who knows. If I have extra money I will give it a try next month
@sanzadez That's true and it may work well. I don't trust SD and the bigger they are, the less I trust them. I'm not sure I agree with some of the testers about the 64 gig 95mb. I have 64 and 32 Sandisk 95mb and I've found that in camera results are the same with both.
But as you said, it's returnable. I've already printed the label.
@peternap Newegg has a promotion on Patriot: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220665&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL071212&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL071212--EMC-071212-Index--FlashMemory-_-20220665-L015D
Is this the same card you bought?
