how about 1600x1200 4:3 AVCHD HBR for us 2x anamorphic lens owners.

    I am not sure if this has been asked before. But not many of us can afford a $1500 1.5x anamorphic lens. It would be silly to shoot mjpeg on a gh2, no?

    i'm afraid that from what i've also tried to find out, it is not possible on AVCHD. BTW- is there a cheap 2X lens that could single focus? cause it's still a big problem.

    I would actually like to see an iPhone or android app for this. You input the focus distance of the anamorphic adapter then the app tells you the focus distance for the prime. I'd buy it in a sec.

    what does it matter if you have to double focus?

    It's possible to shoot great stuff without racking focus all day, you know ;)

    of course but it terribly limiting when you DO need it once in a while. maybe it could be doable when you get used to it, but it doesn't matter anyway cause that 2x stretch is too much for me.
