I tried golgop3-13_v4.3_beta3 today.

24H video looked very good, rate was between 80MBit/s and 90MBit/s. Spanning worked fine on a SanDisk Extreme Pro 64GB 95MB/s.

720p60(SH) also looked good (rate was ~ 40MBit/s), but there was a glitch where 3 consecutive frames contained some garbage in the lower third of the screen.

HBR was recording at a rate much lower than 24H - is that intenional? (I would imagine that since HBR is the only 1080p30 mode available, it could also benefit a lot from a bitrate >= 80MBit/s ?)

I used "GOLGOP3-13_V4.14_BETA2" and shot at FSH, HBR and SH mode.

Static scenes look very nice and good image quality. When using GOP9 720p60(SH), camera freezed once. FSH and HBR was no problem. (SANDISK Extreme Pro SDXC 64GB)

*Bitrate around about 40-60Mbps

*FSH not spanned, HBR spanned (very high detailed scene)

@jrd: I'm editing the video using kdenlive under Linux, and that works for me just as well and smooth as with any recording I took before I applied the hack.

Thanks for using my setting and report! :-) Since the highest bit rate appears with Sedna version of GOLGOP3-13 in my newest settings, your report that it was satisfactory with the class 6 card is unexpected.

BTW, is this footage with no sound?

lowlight test shot with GOLGOP3-13 SednaAQ1C..I have been testing this patch at 24pH all week with no problem..I never tried to span or anything but I have been using a Transend 32gb class 6 card in all my test..It wasn't purposely I just got it mixed up with my class10..I know it won't span but I was amazed I was using a class 6 the whole time,and I mean I have put this patch through some torture...recording 3minute wideangle shots of trees at f8 with the 14-45mm in midday..I really like bkmcwd patches..

I release "GOLGOP3-13_V4.14_BETA2", "GOLGOP3-13_V4.3_BETA3" and "GOP3ZILLA_V2.13_BETA5" settings.

*These are improved only 60p from previous versions.

Please try them. :-)

*Already combined with @thepalalias's "Pasadena_Pulse_Audio_V2_Beta2"

NOTE:

*Although bit rate setups are quite high, the bit rate which actually appears are lower than these. Since the actual bit rate changes by the object to shoot, please confirm by yourself.

*24H and 24L are high quality 3GOP setting with mega size I-frame.

*24p80%(30p) is available.

*In camera playback is available in 24p. In other mode, Sometimes available.(Not tested yet, but probably)

*EX Tele works.(Not tested yet, but probably)

*Spanning in 24H, 24L, 60p, 50p with SanDisk 95MB/s 64GB SDXC Card. In FSH and HBR mode, maybe not. (Not tested yet, but probably)

*Spanning in other cards needs to be tested.
