It only controls record on/off and half click focus on Gh1/2 as far as i can see.

It does indeed Vitaliy, I know your interested in choppers. Rambo .. I am still trying to work out what it does .. and doesn't do

@Vitaliy .. I have not acquired a cheap intervalometer as yet .. so nothing to play with
If this device triggers a full shutter button press .. forget the RC part .. would a simple split of the 4pole connector assist with getting GH2 to sync for 3D if in movie mode?
