gf2: pal ntsc switchable?

Hi, I'm trying to figure out if the GF2 stock firmware allows for switching betweenPAL and NTSC modes for video shooting 1080p/60i and 1080p/50i. Further, will it matter if I use a European, US or Japan version of the camera when installing the imminent (hopefully) pool version allowing the GF2 to be tweaked?

For default answer is no. As for PTool, it'll have necessary patches.
