Snow Monkeys of Norther Japan
  • Made my second trip to Nagano this year early in the season which made for some interesting shots. Only the three posted here are from this year as of writing this, but there are some great ones from 2 years back at the link. I will be posting several from this year in the next few days and more throughout the month, but I think it's a fine line between posting all the great photos and flooding the page which can overwhelm buyers, or so I'm told. Still working on the successful selling part = ) I will also be going at least once more this year when the snow is deep. Aiming for a full on blizzard as was my intention last time (train got stuck on ice and arrived at the tail end of the blizzard). https://filmstudiojapan.com/snow-monkey-photography/

  • Very nice photos.

  • a very delayed thanks Allen.

  • Wondering if there would be any interest in others discussing website devlopment from a photographer, videographers perspective. At the moment Showcase seems to be t he place best suited for this. My site is photography based, and I have put a sh%$ ton of work into it over the last few years. Had painful lessons along the way since I did it all myself. There's allot more I would like to do, but am pacing myself now, as I really worked too much on it over the past year. Would appreciate any input on my site good or bad, but also love to see others sites, and maybe hear about struggles, successes. My personal focus this year has been primarily Security, Speed, and SEO optimization. I was let down a bit when I realized smart phones have dictated relatively boring optimization as compared to some of the cool sites of a decade or more ago that I had envisioned, but don't work so well on tiny screens with slow processing. http://filmstudiojapan.com

  • @mee

Looks cool. But design is a little outdated.

You can try to play with modern AI on making design more slick (as it also knows modern libraries for this).

  • I appreciate the input. If you have any examples of sites which you believe exemplify a modern design, I would be keen to have a look.
