  • On July 13, Panasonic released the latest firmware (version 1.3) for the Micro Four Thirds standard mirrorless camera "LUMIX G100".

The update is focused on the improvement of operation stability. When connecting to a smartphone via Wi-Fi and sending a video to the smartphone side, it is said that the phenomenon that the video playback stops halfway depending on the transmission method has been improved

  • DAMMIT i ended up getting this camera for $375 (supposedly new never used, will check shutter count) from a woman in west virginia that decided she liked using her phone more before even taking it out for a run. (not sure if i believe her).

I WISH I SAW THIS POST FIRST!!! :(

BUT NOW THAT I HAVE IT...

does anyone have anything on hacking this fake vlogger cam?

didn't know it was locked at 10min clips.

    any thoughts would be great!

  • @mushedroom "any thoughts would be great!"

    Kind advises:

Research must be bade prior to the purchase, NOT after!

If an offer is to good to be true, most of the time is to good to be true. Keeping distance is advised.

Be careful not to fall into the Panasonic S9 trap, the newly launched most useless camera ever produced by Panasonic, after the G100.

    ...

Camera hacking's stomped a long time ago, nowadays if you are not satisfied with the poor camera launches, take my advice and get a proper phone, you'll be much more satisfied!
