Stopped down, the IQ is really pretty similar. But I would still go for the Lumix.

Crazy how affordable these third party AF lenses are becoming!!

But when the Panasonic 25mm is so cheap, it is hard to see the point in the Yongnuo? At least the existence of this competition will help ensure Panasonic keeps their price down.

Kinda reminds me of how both Panasonic and Yongnuo also have a 42.5mm f.17 as well!!

If you are buying one of these lenses, consider whether they cover APSC or Super 35, and the native distortion. For example, I can bolt my Lumix 42.5 to my Super 35 camera.

Chinese progress in lenses is staggering. Especially in AF.

I am sure in 2 years we will have something that can match L class glass, just at 1/3 of the price.
