What abut low light? I’m waiting to watch some footage at night.

Better than GoPro, though, which has a smaller sensor and slower lens. But that is not a high standard.

The GoPro 4K60P is 100 Mbps H265, which is approximately 200 Mbps H264.

It is not true, If you check Netflix papers here in corresponding topic H265 is 1.7-2x more efficient only on EXTREME x265 software encoder settings.

If you get cameras encoders H265 efficiency gain is from none to around 1.4-1.5x times. And the more complex the scene is, the move mvement, the harder is to find matches (this is main simplified part) - the less is the gain.

And, the 5-axis digital stabilization of the GoPro is also superior to the 3-axis gimbal.

In depends, for many usages digital stabilization is no go.

Digital stabilization has limits. Modern ones can be really really good, but sometimes it becomes confused. With good modern gimbal you can almost always get predictable behavior, especially with complex moves or slow careful movements.

How is the aperture affected when I put on the wide angle adaptor lens?

I'm considering the Pocket 2 as a upgrade to my Hero7 on the Karma Grip, because of size and a significantly better low light performance. However the stock lens on the Pocket2 is not that wide.

Also the Pocket two supports a wireless microphone and audio input, again a feature missing on my GoPro kit.
