Sony Japan issued a warning because the A7sIII preorders “greatly exceeded our expectations“.
PR of cameras companies is so shitty now. Just sucks.
I’m no tik tok user, and his style is slow and doesn’t work for testing cameras.
I love slow pace shots, I think I make them too a lot, but for camera testing I think it’s my view, it needs more that a tripod and slow mo. Test skew and jello effects on handheld subjects focus racking on shoulder. Use contrast on scenery by changing scenes or spaces. Use more contras spaces and more movement on in, not just its composition moving. I mean it’s too steady, not useful at all on how camera reacts.
I like Bloom's style, and he has his own unique approach. It's old-school in that you have to have an attention span to appreciate it, and he's pretty thorough. (His XT4 autofocus testing video is great)
But, Bloom is probably not your cup of tea if you use TikTok.
The way bloom approach camera analysis I think is outdated. It’s always the same. I get the same place diferente camera approach, but is all slow and tediously bloom.
He should change the set up. If I could receive cameras for reviewing would be grate. All stuff that can be really tested. All i se lately is easily done and like no challenge for the camera or the crew or even the director itself. Boring shit.
Every time I see Bloomy Bloom all I picture is a scam artist for some reason.
Is IBIS in A7sIII worse than in A7sII? Any tests available?
4199€ here in Germany for the worst IBIS, an oversharpened image to hide a very soft 4K, no 4k APS-C mode, 12MP only for still ... And yet a lot of german and french Youtubers who have received the A7SIII by Sony are in love with the camera, most of the time they never speak about the crappy IBIS or the soft and oversharpened image. Sony is now better for buying people than making good cameras.
