  • It's a shame it's not a monster phone with 8k. The MI Note 10 Pro, has a better lens system. People are complaining about the pictures from the 9cc, so hopefully this 10 pro version is better. You can definitely see the sensor works a lot better in it's levels anyway.

  • EU price will be with big premium

€649 - Mi Note 10 Pro model with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage (Chinese is $499)

  • @mei

Calm down with all this 8K thing.

  • Full size sample images that seam to be the best from any smartphone to date, rivaling entry LV ILC cameras IMO.

  • @Vitaliy. Only one sentence, I did not even start on 12k. I have found out from the programmer behind freedcam, you should be able to hack the settings of most 855+Sony 48mp chips using the app to get something K. I think this camera here is locked down to 1/4 resolution, but it would be good to see if you could get 6k.

  • Ok, people are reporting the picture quality on the Mi Note 10 version is much better than the 9cc. The note pro (as mentioned before) should be better.

It's strange, but maybe there is a big difference with the cheaper Chinese versions. They make the picture handling/encoding and data rate sound inferior in the cheaper version. But I love the levels on that Samsung sensor. I have used another phone with a Samsung sensor.and immediately could see how much better it looked. The new micron Aptina replacement. When they came out with their architecture mid last decade or so, it revolutionised the phone industry. This is not the much of a difference, unless you compare it to a very cheap sensor, but it has the levels I like.
