NVIDIA also announced the availability of a new NVIDIA Studio Driver, which provides optimizations for popular creative apps updating around SIGGRAPH, including OTOY Octane Render, Blender, Autodesk Arnold, Maxon Cinema 4D, Substance Painter by Adobe and Magix VEGAS Pro. The latest Studio Driver adds an often-requested feature - support for 30-bit color in OpenGL apps such as Adobe Photoshop and Premiere for all GPUs. With this feature, creators can work with their HDR photos and videos with full accuracy and without the banding typical of 24-bit color.
The latest rerelease of Nvidia's Studio drivers allows you to view HDR video and wide P3-gamut colors " across all Nvidia product lines and GPUs.
Some articles are misleading that it is only RTX feature, but it must not be.
In addition, this new NVIDIA Studio Driver introduces support for 30-bit color across all product lines, including GeForce and TITAN, for the first time, allowing for seamless color transitions without banding. With 24-bit color, a pixel can be built from 16.7 million shades of color. By increasing to 30-bit color, a pixel can now be built from over 1 billion shades of color, which eliminates the abrupt changes in shades of the same color.
An Nvidia rep confirmed that it'll work for every card that is compatible with the Studio Driver. Basically most 10 and 20 series cards will work except for the GT1030.

Nice, this is that I had been talking.
1080 Ti now becomes almost dream card if you want some future proofing due to more memory, as 2080 Ti is too expensive.
+1. Also, 1080ti can sometimes be found second hand for a good price. Never seen a 2080ti second hand.
