Just picked one up. Very useable image, very little lag though the app is fiddly.

Any one got an in to see if they could:

make it a separate app from the gimbal. Life would be easier if could just lock the iPad to an app that doesn’t look an afterthought.
add client mode so that it can join the wifi I broadcast from the cart? This really would be a game changer.

Is it just broadcasting rtmp? So many options with this little thing if it could be unlocked from its very average app and user unfriendly direct paring.

From the PV video it looks like it has quite some latency. I would guess around 250-300ms? So for focus pulling this might not be the right choise.

I'm using this device for monitoring on my Sigma FP and I must say it works like a charm, the software for it is also pretty impressive contrary to the reviews on the android store. The best thing about the Accsoon CineEye is it's built quality, it's built like a tank.

Still interested. Could you provide a latency measurement, with burned in timecode running on cam itself and CineEye in the same frame?
