    Some Panasonic management ideas

    • Rise the price, match margin on G series up to GH standards
    • Reuse some GH designs, like sensors and LSI
    • Cheapen body construction, controls and buttons
    • Keep low resolution cheap screens and cheap EVF
    • Sensor stabilization will be present, but is planned to be cheaper in production.
    • Make battery more protected, smaller and rise the price on it (GH2 new batteries are first sign)

    They could easily erase the G line altogether and just have the more "compact" GX line and the "pro" GH line. I'm saying this because I recently got a G80 and it's simply too good ;)

    I deeply hope they don't erase the G series, and also that they don't increase the price further on the G series (as that kinda defeats the point of the G series! As a beefier entry point to MFT, rather than the dainty little GM/GF cameras)

    Anyway, hopefully will find out more at Photokina!
