As you try to do project rendering benchmark you should understand that you are doing.
Recent Premiere has QuickSync support, so for Ryzen you actually need NVENC or AMD encoding support if you do comparison this way.
So need to use https://www.personal-view.com/talks/discussion/19659/voucoder-nvenc-vce-and-x264x265-encoding-plugin-for-premiere#Item_1
Or
Next thing you need to understand that it will be significant boost in Ryzen performance compared to 6 core chips as Adobe is working with Intel(!) on proper 8 and more cores support that is lacking now.
Yet, if you work with various NLEs it is simpler to have Intel based machine exactly due to QuickSync.
Wow I'm glad you posted this in response to the video. I missed the thread on Voukoder before. I just did a preliminary test with it and being able to use the NVENC H264 took a render from 48 minutes to 14 minutes on one of my current projects. That's pretty impressive. I haven't gone through all the different variants to see but that was the first one I tried and already got good results.

Even more sad is that leading NLE authors do not care much. And I talked to many.
