Hello, I am looking for user feedback on cheap ambiant mics with wide pattern. I am doing the all promo video shooting for my brand of offroad electric bikes. I use a rode micro shotgun microphone but it pics too much of the chain noise, more than what you can feel in reality.
Do you think a microphone with a less directional pattern could help?
I have a decent lavalier, should I use that instead of the rode (never tried that yet)
