RARE ANGENIEUX zoom lens located in Bangkok,Thailand S/N 1521961

--DESCRIPTION

This lens is the precursor and the same generation as the 11.5-138 T2.3 which covered super-16. We are talking of Angenieux HR glass here, so quality is there for sure. You can use it with the Pocket Camera or the Micro Camera. Not sure how it would fit the RED in 2K crop mode, but is should not be not too far from the Blackmagic (I would assume).

Please note that it won't fully cover S16. I would assume that a 1.2x or a 1.4x would make it fully cover the sensor, but I don't have such extender handy. I am posting here below a table that should help you in understanding the coverage:

Focus and aperture are excellent, so it's the zoom action. As smooth as it all can possibly be. Both the front and the back glass have no fungus, no scratches, no marks as far as I can see.

Cosmetically please see pics. I would personally rate this lens to be in very good cosmetic conditions.

Lens has been always kept in a A/C non-smoking room. Its story is pretty simple, I found it on the shelves of the TV channel I am working for. Since the company was purchased, I did not have any use for it.

Hard to let go such a rare baby, but I need to make different business investments.
