The result above is what you'd expect, but when you compare it to rival cameras, you realise that while the 4k footage is definitely very good, the 1080p footage is below par. For example, the 4k footage from the Fujifilm XT2 which I filmed at the same time looked essentially the same as the 4k from the A6500, but Fujifilm's 1080p footage looked much crisper and contained genuinely more detail than 1080p on the A6500.
So, if you film 1080p Samsung NX500 is much better camera (and it means usually most projects and people in reality).

Sony a6500 vs a6300 vs a6000
As an A7S user, I can say that Sony cameras are excellent technically but the colors are just gross.

First thing we need is to understand that it means in reality.
And that exact mode and settings had been used.
I am not even talking about monitor calibration report where view all this :-)
You can get ColorChecker Digital SG and make comparison with other cameras (again, internal modes matter)
I just can't stand the Rolling Shutter on the A6300/6500! I feel the Fuji X-T2 is likely going to be my next camera. That thing has very low Rolling Shutter skew.
From the samples I've seen its really bad BUT I have to say unless you are looking for it a lot of people won't even notice it if the story is good...
Xt2 looks good except a6500 is sharper and way better low light, in addition to use able PDAF af. Guess it's always a compromise :(
and Fuji don't have slowmo and ibis
IBIS is biggest problem for me, If only X-T2 had it...
Sony=better picture. Sad but true.
