I'm considering getting this, but I'm between this and the original Crane Z1
I have a Panasonic G7 which weighs 542g with the battery and kit lens. The Crane-M is supposed to handle 650g, so I think I should be okay. Also, this product is approximately $100 less expensive.
My questions: Are there any disadvantages to getting this for the G7?
If it had a lx100 I'd definitely be getting this gimbal, but I'm concerned this may not perform as well as the CraneZ1 for the G7.
Is the CraneZ1 worth the additional expense?

Please note that all weight claims are just marketing things. As for gimbal it is also important that is weight distribution. For example - it is easy to stabilize compact camera with pancake, but harder to do same with long lens.
I suggest to get original Crane gimbal - http://www.personal-view.com/talks/discussion/15338/zhiyun-z1-crane
I'd also suggest the slightly larger Z1. It seems to be built to last, and you never know what will be your next years camera (or lenses). After all, flexibility is one of the advantages to buy a separate gimbal and not an integrated one like the Osmo.
