@cas1 the IBIS will stabilize any lens.
Does this camera (automatically?) stabilise Olympus zoom lenses?
Final solution (with least points of failure)
Micro HDMI to 3.5mm line adapter ($5.75)
Mini 5V 3.5mm 2 in 1 Wireless Bluetooth Audio Transmitter, $14.5
Attach using small transmitter cable and use sticky tape to fix them together.
Wireless Bluetooth headphones, per your liking, from $5 to $30
First, this is more handy (lack two points of failure) and cheaper
Plus headphone amp
Another option is to get $36 sound recorder with PCM recording and line in and headphone out, so you will have backup sound and can you otherwise use as stereo mike..
This is a workaround for the Sony a6300 to have a headphone jack, since the G85 can have dual recording with the HDMI, this could be a workaround to the missing headphone jack.
It cannot. Only Battery grip.
Does anyone know if the contacts on the bottom of the G80 means it can work with the YAGH Module?
@smoke23 I agree it is overpriced and don't think they will sell that many. If it had a headphone jack it would be a must have without I'll pass. I think they missed an opportunity IMO.

Why is the battery grip so expensive? It's have the price of the body. $199 would be more reasonable. UK gets one for free.
May be Panasonic will make price lower due to A6500?
Well this will be interesting with the Dual IS Mk2....
I wonder if we are going to have a 3 Tier OIS situation. Where some lens don't support any Dual IS (100-300mm), where some support the Dual IS (12-35 etc) and newer (12-60mm, or ones they want to sell...) support Dual IS Mk2.

Whoa that image was startling! I recognise that as being bridge/carpark just around the corner from my place. Looked up his site, yup, he is an Aucklander too!
good news
Dual I.S. 2 Lens Support Firmware update. 12-60 and 14-140 HD http://av.jpn.support.panasonic.com/support/global/cs/dsc/download/fts/index2.html
@smoke23 I would wait a bit till the price drops and the reviews are all in. It looks like a really good camera. It may be the IQ is a tiny bit better, it may be there is not difference, and it actually may be that the IQ is a tiny bit worse.
The G7 is a bit lighter, and has no IS.
The new model has some weather sealing.
Is it worth upgrading from a G7 if you have a NTSC with the unlimited recording?

Dynamic range will be decent with CineD, but don't expect miracles.
How can we know that? No info at all on this matter from Panasonic.
Can't wait to buy this camera. I do not see a lot that would make me choose the GH5 over this one. As for the headphone jack, it doesn't bother me since I'm used to external zoom for serious shooting sessions. Do you think though that the dynamic range would be better on the GH5?
Weight, I see it's 505 gram, which I think is the body only. How much does the 12-60 lens weigh?
I just found it: 210 gram.
I added sample and except.
For me it looks like half baked thing, just some photos and fast ISO etc tests.
