If you like stop-motion animation, Kubo and the Two Strings is just exquisite. Laika has taken stop-motion farther than anyone. Though they use a mix of traditional stop-motion, plus robotics and CG, the techniques are seamless and you absolutely forget about the fact that the movie is stop motion, until you suddenly remember and are just floored by the quality and technique.
Plus, it's a really lovely movie and story. Five years in the animating, I hear.
