I shot some lowlight last night, all handheld. I can't remember if I limited iso to 800 or 1600. I think this was at 800 since I wanted to see how flexible it would be to deal with in editing/after effects.

Any good G7 vs GX85 comparisons? Anyone use the m side by side? I'm especially interested if the moire/stair stepping is worse in video mode.

I used the camera on my first real production today and it performed perfectly. Overheating doesn't seem to be an issue. Now we just need to disable that 30-minute record limit.

Have people tried using old lenses with it?

How effective is the IBIS in stabilising old fast lenses?

I would like to use some old fast lenses to shoot and video nature (panning) and portraits.

Is the viewfinder good enough to get the eyes quickly in focus using a manual fast lens?

Here is a video from last Friday that was filmed on the spur of the moment. My wife is a children’s book writer and she was at a school talking about her books and short stories. The students made a play of one of her short stories. Filming was handheld with the 12-32 lens , Natural profile, audio was from the camera but, was adjusted with Soundtrack Pro. Editing was with FCP X.
