Played around with it in best buy. The 5 axis is beyond bad ass. very impressed.
Like the good doctor stated above, I'm waiting for unlocked. I need to be able to use small cams like this for locked off multicam concerts, and 30 min limits are a no go.
I wish it had cine profiles though. They are still my preference on my GH4, so it would be better for matching. This would force me into going Natural on all cams. Not the worst, but not first pick.
Panasonic is having issue with stock of most cameras now. Due to Sony sensors.
@Vesku - I've read the GX85 manual - and the exposure values are still NOT displayed if in P/S/A while in creative video modes.
Also - still no AUTO ISO in full manual.
Thanks for the comparison. By chance, have you taken any of the GX85 clips and added more stabilization (e.g. AE Warp Stabilizer) in post? I'm trying to find a discreet system that can do the type of camera movement you do in your video. Not sure if stabilized GX85 or gimbal is way to go. Wariness is also from jittery footage of single-handle gimbals I've seen, so curious to your impressions.
