  • And? What is wrong with it?

US always had been big power in South America.

  • And? What is wrong with it?

just like ukraine...what was wrong with us financing the opposition ?

  • just like ukraine...what was wrong with us financing the opposition ?

In both cases - nothing. US capitalists (and many others) do everything right. I see no major errors or shortfalls.

It is bad for working people in this countries, but who cares?

P.S. Ukraine discussion is prohibited on PV (as any exUSSR place). So do not go further.

  • It was just an example.....I could've used guatemala, or iran, or chile just as easily, but me thinks your prohibitions tell us much. And do I really have to answer what is wrong with the usa controlling the political landscape of other countries ?

  • And do I really have to answer what is wrong with the usa controlling the political landscape of other countries ?

Of course. As I want to know that makes some capitalists moral guys (from your pov) and some (from US) are immoral by definition.

  • when did I say some capitalist are moral guys ?

  • when did I say some capitalist are moral guys ?

what is wrong with the usa controlling the political landscape of other countries ?

    Here.

  • here where ? ...you obviously misinterpreted the english

  • And do I really have to answer what is wrong with the usa controlling the political landscape of other countries

Here you stated that you think that it is wrong for USA capitalists to control political landscape, but it seems that you also think that it is much better the other way around - as local capitalist will do it.

  • not following you bro....my perspective is isolationism. The usa should keep out of other country's business...but of course, our state dept, intelligence , and military are paving the roads for our banksters. Every intervention the usa has done has been for it's corporations, none for a political ideal. I'm opposed, as frankly are most americans...which is why the usa is now officially an oligarchy.

You mean that you ask god every morning for this? As how otherwise you will stop them?

It is also good to go back to books to understand why and how capitalists act, to understand that capitalists actually have no devotion to any state population as general. If they find some resources outside - they will invade. Most of the time local capitalist will just sell land and factories and will go live happily in US, in sunny California. If they find cheaper labor - bad for ya, good for them. They will turn whole cities in jobless criminal mess.

Every intervention the usa has done has been for it's corporations, none for a political ideal.

Surprise. It seems that you somehow skipped all core ideas of communists you read.

This is always such. No such thing as intervention for "political ideal" exist, it is some for of ill fated idealism where you can even imagine this.

I'm opposed, as frankly are most americans...which is why the usa is now officially an oligarchy.

USA just have imperialism, it also means lots of big corporations and monopolies. Oligarchy is just ill fated and fully wrong term that capitalist media use to offset people attention.

  • You mean that you ask god every morning for this? As how otherwise you will stop them?

and you...what are you doing ? ....selling the capitalist wares ?

No such thing as intervention for "political ideal" exist

actually vietnam offered few resources to be plundered and markets to be exploited and although in error, was done for political ideals during the cold war

    actually you have it reversed

  • and you...what are you doing ? ....selling the capitalist wares ?

I asked you in such irony as obvious you do not understand that to do something you must first propose real way to do so. Want to stop USA from controlling other capitalist states - tell us how you want to do it. Teach capitalists how to become friends and real patriots? Or what?

As for wares - I always select only communists who are deeply infiltrated to any corporations. :-)

actually vietnam offered few resources to be plundered and markets to be exploited and although in error, was done for political ideals during the cold war

No, capitalists made war not for political ideal for itself. They sent exploited class to war as they had big fear for their own necks, they know that if they won't fight here communism will come to their home. Vietman also had very important strategic place. Later it was same in Korea.

    actually you have it reversed

Well, as subjective idealist you can be sure in this, as even this discussion exist only in your head or as some very advanced computer simulation.

  • New Cabinet

    1. The Ministry of Culture has been eliminated
    2. The Ministry of Agrarian Development has been eliminated
    3. The Ministry of Science and Technology has been eliminated (it is now part of a much larger dysfunctional ministry, together with telecommunications)
    4. The Ministry of Women has been eliminated
    5. The Ministry of Racial Equality has been eliminated
    6. The Ministry of Human Rights has been eliminated

At least capitalists are more honest now.

  • @Vitaliy_Kiselev They were too many and hadn´t done much...

  • @Cid

Why not to cut all of them?

You know.. hire the good guys. Things must change, things must improve.
As it is always bad guys, good guys are never corrupt and they see needs of people even in their dreams.

  • @Cid

I just put though closer to the limit.
People had been told that this is finally good guys.

  • @Vitaliy_Kiselev Ok, I thought you were freaking out ;o) Those "good guys" are involved in the same "Lavajato" (carwash) scandal as previous PT management. After all, they were their allies.

  • Those "good guys" are involved in the same "Lavajato" (carwash) scandal as previous PT management. After all, they were their allies.

Of course. Both just implement that capitalists want. As soon as resources and energy became an issue you can no longer play into fake "socialism" games.

  • @Vitaliy_Kiselev Very well said. The only people that is defending Dilma are the "social" movements, sindicates and some artists, all fed by her. During the Lula´s mandate the minister of culture Gilberto Gil performed more shows than ever and when a brazilian music week was presented in France he took basically his friends to represent our whole contry, which is continental and very diverse.

  • The state of Rio expects a budget deficit of over 19 billion reais ($5.56bn) this year as spending planned before oil prices fell outstrips revenue that is tumbling during Brazil’s worst recession since the 1930s.

Since late last year, the state has been forced to delay pension and salary payments and shutter some schools and hospitals, where crucial supplies, including medicines and syringes, are lacking.

Want to support capitalists? Witness your future.

  • Brazil's gross domestic product contracted by 3.6 percent last year, statistics agency IBGE said, following a 3.8 percent drop in 2015. The nation's two-year downturn is the longest and deepest on record for Latin America's biggest nation.

The economic contraction worsened in the fourth quarter, with a steeper-than-expected decline of 0.9 percent, following a 0.7 percent drop in the previous three months.

Investment tumbled 10.2 percent in 2016, in a sharp drop that is partly blamed by economists on Brazil's chronically high interest rates.

And all of this come "unexpectedly".
