How is that possible? Brand new 50-100 costs $1k, seems too good to be true...

A friend in the USA ( a professional wedding photographer) had ordered a a high end Nikon camera from an unknown store at a too good to be true price. Paid by credit card. They held his money for over 30 days, before refunding it and wasting a lot of his time. Regardless, he went and paid the real street price at a reputable dealer, once he got his money back, but lost the time he could have been using the new camera, and the store got to do whatever they wanted with his money during that period. Beware of some "deals".

Thankfully I got the refund already, but I agree. Always a risky proposition.
