Hi guys, one question please.. someone has understood if the g7 has in-body stabilization?
Thank you
The G7 delivers very good image quality, even with the starter 14-42mm kit lens, and optical image stabilization helps get sharp shots and steady video. Noise performance is very good, with the camera competing with other Micro Four Thirds cameras, as well as some APS-C cameras. The design of the camera has been updated, and the camera feels more like a mini Digital SLR with ample controls to change settings. A vast array of Micro Four Thirds lenses and accessories are available making this an excellent system to buy in to, and the ability to record high quality 4K video is an added bonus that can be used for video as well as stills.

@liork reading this review would seem possible http://mashable.com/2015/05/29/hands-on-with-panasonics-800-g7-4k-video-recording-mirrorless-camera/
@lumixmasgh3 the poster is talking about the ois on the len, not on the camera..
@lmackreath sorry, that was not..i was wrong..just I find again the correct link, write it here
Even if you're not onboard the 4K train, the DMC-G7 is still a very appealing mirrorless camera, once again offering a lot of features and performance at an attractive price, although it lacks the more characteristic retro styling of the Olympus PEN range or the Fujifilm X-series
Image quality has also been improved since from the previous DMC-G6 (as this new model uses the same sensor as the excellent DMC-GX7), in particular moving things on in the ISO stakes. Images shot at ISO 100-1600 are clean, with a little noise appearing at 3200 and more at the still very usable setting of 6400. ISO 12,800 is best reserved for resizing and smaller prints, while the top speed of 25,600 is really only for emergency use.

so has anyone got this on preorder for Monday ? (I have!). Already started to think ahead in terms of best video settings, mainly best on the GH4 forum, settings for the cine-d/cine-v, although Natural seems to be touted as a good profile also...
Anyone know if the G7 offers auto iso in manual mode?
@0100: You could go for the bigger 14-140mm kit and sell the lens.
That way you would get the body easily for 600 to 650 bucks ^^.
@Tscheckoff yeah I might do that, thanks.
The G7 Basic and Advanced Manual is now available on the Panasonic website for anyone thats interested.
We were impressed by how easy it is to switch between stills and movie recording and the useful options provided by the 4K Photo modes, which could appeal to some serious shooters. The camera's well-designed control layout makes it easy to access frequently-used functions and five programmable function buttons give plenty of scope for customization of controls.
No sign of camera..pre order mine with amazon, got an email this morning saying shipment is delayed and wont be with me till 16th July- 13 August!
