  • Yup, that is nearly a hundred bucks cheaper than the even the cheapest used camera :-)

And a nifty feature of the NX300 is it can do 3D with the 3D lens, seems like one of the cheapest ways to get into doing 3D filming! (which isn't a tiny point and shoot) Bit of a ultra tiny niche that is not in fad these days, but should be fun to play around with anyway :-)

Just finished writing up a short blog article about it, and why I got it: http://ironfilm.co.nz/amazon-deal-for-samsung-nx300nx1000nx2000/

Will write another once it arrives and I can review it.

Note that 3D here is shutter based (ala active glasses), not so good for movements. Base is also very small, photos or video from cameras with better base looks much more interesting (for everyday shots where most things are not right before camera). For 3D it is much better to get Sony camcorder or if you can find to get cheap Fujifilm or Panasonic 3D compact.

  • Thanks @ Vitaliy - I appreciate you sharing this! I purchased one. Seems like a very good deal as it is the III version.
