Rig Powering Options

Has anyone a good recomendation for a V-Mount or Anton Bauer battery system to mount on the shoulder pad (via 15mm rods).
I want something to power, camera, monitor

I found this on ebay, but built quality and price looks not very convincing to me:

@spreegurke I have this on my rig. So far it works fine with my camera and monitor. Have not tried the HDMI splitter function yet. Lots of battery outputs The standard vmount battery is great. I have a feeling it will last a while. Very expensive, though I like the convenience of powering everything from one readily available vmount battery. It does weigh alot, but when mounted at the back of the should pad, it acts as a perfect counter weigh for your rig. Brings the total weight of my rig to almost 17lbs.....

Do you have the first one mentioned, or the proaim. Does it power the GH2. It seemed like it wouldn't give enough power to actually power the camera.

I have the first one. I don't use the GH2 so I would not know. All you have to figure out is how much voltage it uses on the battery adapter.

I like that the outlet-plugs can be locked.
Unfortunately it's very expensive.

Same chinese stuff cost $115 shipped on ebay with simple connectors.

Ok guys, got my camera today, I tested it and IT WORKS AMAZING... Use the Ac adapter and buy this, http://www.paulcbuff.com/vm120.php I used this for my studio flash units, 4 of them for 400 flashes at full power, 120w and 130 watt hours... keeps the GH2 running for hours and best of all the unit with battery is $239, and more swappable batteries are $89 http://www.paulcbuff.com/vmb88a.php

I have the first battery pack and I like it. It's an expensive solution, but I'm happy with how it streamlines my rig. Having said that, it's not a complete solution, depending on what equipment you have.

For my GH2 I was also forced to also buy the Switronix GH2 p-tap connector for $130.00.

All of the included power cords for the battery base have the same size connector on both ends. This connector works great with my monitor and my led light, but it is too big for my h4n. Without the aid of a micrometer (which I don't have) I can't tell the exact size of the connectors that are provided or the size of the native h4n connector. If I had decent wiring skills, I'm told I could buy a charging cord for the h4n and splice it together with one of the provided cords to use the 5v plug on the battery base, but I don't trust myself to do that right. At this point I'll probably end up springing for the Switronix h4n p-tap connector for $75.00. Why stop spending now? ;-)

I also have two of the first packs - really love them. But I got it for $230 of ebay.

I really like the different voltages (which are almost dead on) and the powered HDMI splitter.
It also has an USB port - so you can charge your cellphone while shooting ;-)

Just to be 100% clear - are you using the Vagabond Mini to power the GH2 in video mode "for hours" ?
It's a little confusing because Paul C. Bluff's website describes the device as being a power source for flash units.

I contacted Anton Krieger, the seller of the EUR 440 MultiSpark battery pinch. It's a shame there is no Chinese manufacturer that sells it with these hirose multi-voltage plugs for under $ 200. I like the concept.

But I contacted him because I saw something very interesting on the ebay ad: he is powering his GH2 from the 7.2V output of the pinch. He confirmed that it worked well without getting the 'this battery cannot be used' message. He also confirmed that his pinch has the same electronics as the Lanparte, Cinematics and ProAim battery pinch (it all comes from Lanparte he says). So I am going to get me a cable to my DCC8 to test my Cinematics battery pinch with my camera.

I want to make my own DIY powering system based on NPF970 batteries ... The only problem i have can't find battery plates for NPF970 as on the image below ... Can any one point me where can i buy only NPF battery plates as these used on image ? I found very nice components as battery capacity indicator, and small step-up/down converters, would make another practical video tutorial ...
