5DtoRGB - not sure if someone know's what issue I've got

I've tried to use a 1.5.4 version of 5DtoRGB (yes, XP!!) but it keeps crashing after loading the file and pressing convert.
I'm on Windows XP, so looking to convert to DNxHD (codecs already installed). Also, to make matters worse, I'm using a laptop.
Would anyone who has used/uses 5DtoRGB have any idea?
