    25p 154 Mbps?? But I have 50p 50Mbps :) Well, tomorrow I will check these settings.

    My card can not write with such speed, GH2 dies in all modes :(
    I can shoot only a table, chair, wall ...

    Report Stream Parser to be the same as yours. Think it native 25p :) But if you insert it into Sony Vegas, then shows the first 3 frames ... and nothing else

    Today my friend gave me other options. They can set the bitrate to 50 Mbps and GOP6 or GOP12. And everything seems to be working, but ... if you shoot trees, Stream Parser show jumps (Hard 1). How to fix it? Here is the configuration file, 40 Mbps, Gop12, AQ2.

    I think it all depends on this part:

    Quantizer for 1080 modes = 17
    Quantizer for 720 modes = 17
    Muxer buffer for 24p = 33,165,824

    1080p24 High Top Setting = 52 209
    1080p24 High Bottom Setting = 40 846
    1080p24 Low Top Setting = 38 589
    1080p24 Low Bottom Setting = 34 900
    Other Modes Top Setting = 49 900
    Other Modes Bottom Setting = 39 100

    but I do not understand this.

    I do not know. These settings gave me my friend and I have not changed anything except the bit rate, GOP and AQ ...

    But if we remove it all, GH2 dies after 2 seconds.

    I have an upcoming project in PAL. I am looking for a stable setting for 720 50p but I can't find any consensus.

    The above discussion is way over my head no matter how hard I try to understand it. I just want a stable setting where stability is priority over IQ. What would you suggest?

    (I will be using SanDisk extreme class 10. And yes, I want to be able to playback the clip in camera)

    Read all the messages. There are some stable firmware for 720 50p. Here's my latest setup. Test!

    Setting the buffers did not help. Has helped GOP24 :((( But now you can set the bitrate to 50Mb.

    No, this is what I use now. And they work on my card without artifacts at 50p.

    @Botvinic re: your 50M setting. I dont think you need to use Video bitrate 24ADD at all. What made you mess with the muxer buffers? I messed with them but found little difference.

    I wrote that it is setting my friend. I have not changed them, I do not understand them ... but with them no artifacts!

    September 26 - 50p 40 Mbps, 1080p AQ3
    September 27 - 50p 50 Mbps, 1080p AQ2 (more stability)

    No more differences

    You can do two firmware?

    1. 720p 50 Mb 24 Gop, AQ2.
    2. 720p 50 Mb 12 Gop, AQ2

    Specially for me. If the first will be with artifacts, then my card was not guilty. My Settings 50Mb Gop 24, AQ2 work fine!

    Hey guys, a long time follwer here. First post.
    First of all, I have to say that the work for GH2 hacking is unbelievable. Thank you everyone, especially Vitaly.

    I'm shooting a 25fps project during the weekend and I'm willing to find the best stable hack settings or .ini for 720p50 at the moment. I'm using 16GB trancend class 10 card and have to shoot clips around 20-30 mins duration, audio required.

    OR is there any great 1080i50 settings i should consider?

    I tried to find the best info from the topics, but the amount of posts is sooooo massive that.. I just have to ask. :)

    Your last posted setting makes variable bitrate. Just now checked it.
    I would like to find similar stable settings but with maximum constant bitrate for sure long recordings on not too fast SDXC card like Transcend 64Gb (25MB/s)
