European aerospace company EADS (EAD.PA) plans to cut between 5,000 and 6,000 jobs and sell its Parisian headquarters as part of a restructuring program it will detail later on Monday, Le Figaro newspaper reported.
Two industry sources told Reuters last month that the restructuring would cost thousands of jobs but fewer than the 8,000 reported by German news agency DPA.

New report from France's Superior Audiovisual Council (CSA) has opened the door to possible taxes on large web video outlets like YouTube and even more general content providers like Facebook. The report concerns France's current culture tax, which taxes movie theaters, broadcasters and ISPs.
This summer, a proposal to President Hollande suggested a one percent tariff on smartphones and tablets.
It seems it was not enough :-) France now want to make another "reform" firing around 250000 to improve "efficiency".
