I'm surprised at the lack of 4K Shuttle recorder from BM, the HDMI URSA recorder is definitely a bit larger than I had in mind for use with the GH4 :)

@tron but the workflow you get with it is top drawer. Still, yes, it would be nice to have a condensed recorder.

NAB 2014: Andra focus system

At last year’s National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show, Intel announced Thunderbolt™ 2, the latest version of its Thunderbolt™ technology, with a bandwidth increase up to 20Gbps that directly improves the way content creators and media professionals work with 4K video. At this year’s NAB show, Intel takes Thunderbolt 2 capability further, with the addition of Thunderbolt™ Networking, a new and exciting way to directly connect computers together with a standard Thunderbolt cable. There are also many new exciting products with Thunderbolt 2 being shown at NAB, such as the Apple Mac Pro*, PCs such as HP’s Z Workstation line, and media devices and displays that add up to a strong ramp of Thunderbolt 2 in the market this year.

Thunderbolt Networking, emulating an Ethernet connection environment, provides 10GbE throughput between two computers. VK didnt you talk about this type of system a couple years ago on here ?

I did, just about much cheaper and much more advanced.

It is very costly thing.

The problem for me is that looking at the chip dynamic it is 64 db which is not even 11 stop of DR.
