M42 lenses for use with Kowa anamorphic lenses with BMPCC / GH2

    Hi Guys, This may be my first thread, I have a BMPCC and a GH2 both of which I love. Also recently I have bought a Kowa (sometimes labelled as Bell & Howell) anamorphic lens. This will be my first time playing with anamorphic, I love everything about the look. The Kowa anamorphic lens is a 58mm screw mount lens that needs a screw mount adapter kit which clamps on to your lens of choice. So far I have got the Helios 44-2 58mm, Focal MC F2.8 135mm, & a MIR-1B F2.8 37mm lens. These are all VERY reasonably priced on eBay. Has anyone any other ideas for must have M42 lenses for use with anamorphics with a BMPCC/GH2?

    The Helios 44-2 is the classical present-day lens choice for an anamorphic adapter. The 135mm might be too long for everyday use, and the MIR-1B might vignette.

    How about something like the F1.4 50mm fujinon lens?
