i would like to see how it behaves inside a legacy lens adapter, perhaps an anamorphic DIY speedbooster is on the making
It's not yet an anamorphic adapter; it's a Kickstarter campaign for one.
ooopps....looks like they exceeded their goals-
I hope it works on the touch as well !
Backed at $85 in first days. Serious people, they made three price levels at first come, first served: 85, 105, and 125. No misteries, no contradictions, no mumbo jumbo bullshits, no fake videos, clear and reliable product's explanation, excellent design. All made as serious business must be. Happy for them they reached their goal.
@Jean71 Dude when you get the thingy try it inside a legacy lens adapter to see how it behaves please :D
Nice idea! I'll try it on March, when it's supposed to arrive, and i'll post a video ;-)
YAY! thank you!
Hello, it just arrived the anamorphic for iphone, i made a short test, handheld, while waiting my wife at subway station. It's a fast shoot, not a real test, but if you want to see the flares, you are served :)
The video is not desqueezed, i'm waiting that Filmic Pro will add the desqueeze function, like racer5 says.
Shot with iphone5.
@lolo I'll try to make the experiment you asked.
Yes Racer5, It's incredible for me. I have a Pana 7200 and since it is 1.33x, it gives short flares, and you really need to completely focus on the light source. This little toy for iphone produce an horizontal flare i only see in 2x adaptors, like a Muller (projector lens, not real adaptor) i got, or very important ones like Lomo or Lomo-design Hawk. Great little glass indeed :-)
Has anybody tasted the thingy inside a legacy lens adapter to see if it works?
It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!
