Interesting how later shooting scenarios have affected our interpretations of framing:
e.g. that shot with an enormous amount of dead headroom made me think automatically of the modern genre of a person being filmed by a hidden camera, say in a suitcase, where the operator can only hope to vaguely frame the subject. Once upon a time that shot would have just been a meaningless mistake, these days it could be used to convey powerful credibility.
Also the shot of the talent looking out of frame at the right has now become commonplace, implying there's another character behind him; estrangement and isolation. (especially in 2.35:1)
