1. Chinese pad. Price: $89

I bought the TrusMT shoulder pad and used it to upgrade my Gini shoulder mount. The holes through the TrusMT pad are a little wider than 15mm, which allows you to easily slide it to fit your shoulder position. However, the sharp edges of the concave arc of the pad dug into my shoulders in an uncomfortable manner. I rounded them off with a coarse file and like it much better that way.

Yes, good option.

I'll also try Weifeng gunshock support soon, it looks better, but how it behaves in practice remains to be seen

I am searching for the better shoulders pad for my new rig. I think this one (the brand is shape) is very good and very comfortable, even if it's a little pricey ($179). What do you think about?

From things I know I really suggest to get Lanparte or Tilta pads.

@bardamu - have you tried that shape one? I wanted to but it's hard to get in the USA. Hated the feeling of my Lanparte shoulder pad and sold it.

Yes, I tried it here in Italy, I think it has a very good comfort and ergonomic on the shoulder, and it is very sturdy. You should pay it 170 Euro on their website (I think they are canadian). It's much but for what I see ( I haven't tried the Lanparte one) is one of the better.

My former employer had two full rigs from Shape and they are ok. The pad is very comfortable and stable, but it is also bulky and would be much better to detach as a clip-on. Also, on one of the pads, the glue didn't hold very well and the padding came off after a couple of months....
