Panasonic GH2 and Kowa anamorphic for sale on Ebay limited time remains!!

Just saw this auction on Ebay while searching for something else. I thought some of you guys might be interested in it.

I like how he's over pricing that Kowa big time. There's been two of them that have sold for -$400 on Ebay recently.

I used to own a Kowa 2X anamorphic for Bell and Howell, which I sold, for I think $560 a year or so ago. I think he is counting on the "Kowa" name for that price. Unfortunately for him, If you do an "Advanced" search for completed listings on ebay, you will see the exact same anamorphic lens sold for as low as $41.

yeah that particular massive kowa aint worth more than $50,... mostly cos its soo effin huge and heavy that the first time youtake it out, you'll have a hernia and a slipped disk, and from then on it'll stay at home collecting dust :P

@Brucker,

I think also, due to the length of this anamorphic lens, that it may vignette with standard to wide angle "taking" lenses.

@bleach551 i think you might be right,.. i did have one of those big ones, my first anamorphic actually, just to see what the fuss was about,... got it for $15 and have since got loads more better smaller ones,.. so when i moved apartments i literally chucked it out with all the other trash.

I paid $250 for the Kowa 2X anamorphic for Bell and Howell when I first purchased it. Then later I sold it for the $560 I mentioned above. If I do get another anamorphic lens, it will have to be the Iscorama Widescreen MC 2000.
