Frankly it's ugly.
The EVF should be the most comfortable ever! Look at the size of it, probably should comparable to FF OVF
Agree, ugly. I'm scared to see the front side....
Does it come in yellow? It has to have a yellow version. :-)
in body image stabilisation. I wish more companies did this.
IBIS has the dreaded shutter shock issue. The fast shutter movement (e.g. 1/60, 1/125) & firm hands grip might send enough shock to the sensor so that IBIS might try to fix it which might create double imaging sometimes. All of previous PENs have such issue. That's why PENs have anti-shock feature that delays photo taking where 1/8 is the shortest delay. Press shutter button, opens shutter curtain, waits, then captures lighting info.
In-Lens IS has no such issue. Also ILIS keeps the sensor cool.

Good news that cheap 17mm F1.8 are not far away :-)
When peaking is active, the screen's refresh rate slows noticeably.
Hmm. Pentax peaking does not cause any refresh rate change and I do not know about any other camera that had such issue.
For photos, it is almost a OM-D repackaged (and without EVF) and with some better specs - great for photos, really.
For video, it's the same specs as the OM-D - only that the 60i was scrapped and now it only have 30p, in MPEG-4AVC/H.264, same bitrate (20Mbps). Since the sensor output in OM-D was already 30fps, can't see much difference.
If the price was $799, would be a great stills camera. Waiting for the new OM-D (for photos, don't expect too much from Oly in the movie front - if they use their tech cooperation with Sony to bring the AVCHD 28Mbps that Sony uses in their compact HX line, would be very interesting).
"E-P5 just doesn't make any real sense...Olympus' ego is showing more than their product marketing skills" Thom Hogan - http://www.sansmirror.com/newsviews/im-not-sure-i-get-it.html
Thom is long time m43 "lover". He constantly "reviews" them and constantly conclude that Nikon is better. His proper site title is more like Smack Mirrorless. But I like that because he is smart he smacks them hard but subtle.
@Vitaliy_Kiselev I know that Thom is biased towards Nikon, but he is also an old Olympus shooter. I sense that he is bitter about Nikon 1 being too basic among the mirrorless, and therefore he is trying to convince the world that this is because all the money is made by selling the DSLR.
E-P5 Video performance
Image quality is expected to be identical or near identical to the Olympus OM-D E-M5, as the camera uses the same sensor as the OM-D E-M5, as well as the same Venus image processing engine. Although one new feature is that ISO100 is now available, while the lowest ISO setting on the E-M5 was ISO200. The E-P5 is also the first mirrorless camera to feature a 1/8000s mechanical shutter speed, with other cameras using an electronic shutter to reach this speed.
