If you love the feel of a DSLR, but prefer the maintenance and lightweight nature of a mirrorless camera, then the NX30 is worth it. The new SVF functionality is a cool feature—especially if you enjoy looking down into the viewfinder. The image quality is very good to great.

It's a DSLR-style mirrorless camera with a fully articulated touch screen, 1080/60p video and loads of connectivity. It's good entry-to-mid level DSLR competitor, or a less expensive alternative to a top shelf mirrorless camera like the Olympus OM-D E-M1. In testing the NX30 proved itself to be as capable DSLR in many ways.
On Times Square on Wednesday, June 4th, Samsung is hosting a "Ditch Day" event from noon to 6PM. You could exchange a digital SLR (any DSLR) for a brand-new NX30 mirrorless camera.
A heads up on Vitaliy's last post ,-)
between the hours of 12pm and 6pm in Times Square, Samsung will GIVE you an NX30 for free if you’re willing to hand over your DSLR -any DSLR - in exchange.
It's $1000 worth, if you're living in NY, you can give them an old minolta, oly e-30, nik d40 or like so
But even if you don’t get there in time, there’ll be fun games, hands-on time with the NX30 and other Samsung cameras, and a $50 off coupon for anybody willing to ‘pledge’ that they will ditch their DSLR.
Some guy at petapixel said they only have 200 bodies

They are stupid. In their place I'll get 10000 and after this will state that I now have 50% market share in mirrorless in US. :-)
The Samsung NX30 is a very nice camera, with a lot of performance and cool features packed into a reasonably compact package. I shot a pretty good variety of subjects in a wide range of conditions with it in the first week, and for the most part, I was pleased with the results. I especially liked having the built-in Wi-Fi to feed my Instagram habit.

Video quality is good with this camera, although it's not quite able to match the NX30's strong image quality. You can record at a maximum 1080p HD 60p video quality.

Samsung NX30 is a strong contender for those looking for a relatively compact, high-performance camera at a great value.

Too bad the video bitrate isn't any higher.
You just need to look for NX1, not this
