Problem - GH2 LCD DEAD!

Hello!

LCD display of my 2 year old GH2 is now dead. LVF works fine.

Camera works otherwise perfectly and even touch-function on LCD works!, but no image on LCD screen.

Does any know about what might be causing this problem?

Nothing obvious has happened to the camera. Last time used it 2 weeks ago in a wedding.

I didn't find any similar situations on the internet yet.

Did you turn LCD face down ? I forgot doing that all the time but mine is sill ok. Could LCD be dead by batteries placing nearby?

You could try these people to source and even replace screen:

It's a service centre job, really. CAREFUL WITH HIGH VOLTAGES NEAR LCD SCREENS and FLASH CIRCUITS.

Check to see if LCD monitor is turned off in the menu.
