Anybody knows something about substituting a M42 mount by a MFT mount? Any tutorials? I saw a lens being sold that was modified in this way. No adapter needed any more. Appreciate any infos about it.
Hmm. Any reason of doing it?
As modifications must be very big, and I doubt that 99% of lenses can be modified such.
Adapters are cheap and most can be adjusted for flange distance. So, why bother?
I'd simply buy one for each lens, adjust it and leave it on. Heck, you may even glue it after adjustment ;-)
@Vitaliy_Kiselev @nomad I saw this: http://www.ebay.de/itm/261275885277?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 and I thought, I can avoid the adapter when using one of my favorite lenses, Pentax Takumar 85mm 1.8, makes it smaller...
I can't even see if that just comes with an adapter. You can't save on length, since flange distance will stay the same.
