So a good friend of mine Director Ryan Wood is doing a Kickstarter for the next episode in his popular web series Fear of Girls. If he gets the funding, which I'm sure he will since it isn't even 24 hours yet and he's 1/3 there, I will be shooting it on the BMCC MFT and BMPCC. Check it out especially if you're into the whole RPG thing. There are 3 episodes (I didn't shoot any of them, but was the first AC on the third one) and they are funny, witty, and entertaining. All three episodes are on the Kickstarter page. If you like what you see and want to see a forth episode, back his Kickstarter, you can donate as little as $1 if you want. Thanks.

More press: Interviews with the cast.
Start of Day 4 and only $1000 away from the goal. 27 more days to make the third stretch goal. Then we can get a jumpstart on the series with not only the 4th episode "The Pubescent Face of Evil", but the 5th episode "The Party Bus of Elemental Evil" as well.

Goal reached in 4 days. Time for stretch goals.
Interview with Writer/Director/Creator Ryan Wood.
$136 left to unlock the first stretch goal.
Reached the first stretch goal a few days ago.
We just wrapped on this project, Episode 4. Here is the Camera/Speed Booster/Lens breakdown I used in case anyone is interested.
Nikon 50mm f1.4 with Speed Booster on the BMCC MFT for one wide interview/testimonial shot.
Nikon 85mm f1.8 on the BMCC MFT for three close up interview/testimonial shots.
Tokina 11-16 f2.8 with Speed Booster handheld on the BMPCC for one Cinema Verite doc style shot.
Sigma 18-35 f1.8 with Speed Booster on the BMCC MFT for two wide interviews/testimonial shots.
Sigma 18-35 f1.8 with Speed Booster on the BMPCC for the entire rest of the shoot, mostly handheld, which was 90% of the shoot.
Anyway this was the most I've used the Speed Booster and Sigma 18-35 together or separate in a single shoot. It was very interesting, they both performed well, I learned a lot about them, and I am very happy I had both items. They are a couple of the best purchases I've ever made and they saved my ass on this shoot.
I'll post pictures and screen grabs soon.
Here are the previous episodes if you want to watch. I wasn't involved in the first two. I was the AC on the third one.
