$7,500...USD?! Wow. I mean - I have cash in hand, but that's out of hand. Maybe he can be talked down a bit to what we thought they were selling for seconds ago. Somewhere between $3,000.00-$4,000.00, no? Shame on him.
There's a 40-120 zoom Squarefront over at Olex's

A kit consisting of 35/50/80 on reduser http://reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?97360-LOMO-ANAMORPHIC-SQUARE-FRONTS-in-PL-(35-50-80)-FOR-SALE the OP sold the 35mm alone, probably for $6000 but that's in PL mount.
The 40-120 would cost a lot if someone emails Olex for the price...
not worth the money they ask!!!
you must remove speculation, max $1500

Wow for $7500 I'd sell mine....that is insane!
The 40-120 Anamorphic zoom goes for $25K (plus) now.
The last one I saw on the market went for $18K and that was damaged (chipped inner elements - but still fully functional).
A 35mm Squarefront, in good condition, should be around $3K-$4.5K in the current market... but people are just pushing prices at the moment.
Sadly, it seems the days of cheap(er) Russian anamorphics are over, as demand has outstripped supply. In 2011 (when I gt my Squarefronts) a full set of 35mm/50mm/80mm went for $4.5K and that included PL mounts. Now, if I was to sell, I wouldn't let them go at less that $12K. The longer I keep them, the more they'll be worth.
In 2009, a set of Squares would go for $1800. So, who knows what value the lenses will have in a a few years time.
Seriously, a few years ago I bought my SF 35mm for $1200 and thought I was getting a tiny bit ripped off compared to market value. Crazy how expensive these have gotten. Makes me want to sell my set every now and again, but I think I will hold onto these until the price is truly insane.
Yes - same here... the thing that stops me is the fear on not being able to replace them!
Mine are in good condition - not like the stuff you see for sale at the moment.
Guess it's like having a financial 'Lomo' portfolio... LOL.
Im looking for LOMO anamorphics ,so if any of you guys REALLY want to sale ,please contact me at nkerezov@hotmail.com
