Last Friday at the "Revision 2013" event in Saarbrücken/Germany computer demos in many different categories were presented. You can download all the contestants here, but I guess most of you will only be impressed by visuals of demos that are run on contemporary hardware, and if you happen to not own a high-end PC, you can still watch the video recordings of some of those demos on YouTube. (Notice that those demos render the graphics in real-time as they run, the videos are actual live recordings.)
I found especially impressive those PC demos that ran in the "64k" category, where the whole of the demo code has to be smaller than 65536 bytes, e.g.:
And this demo here ran in the "4k" category, so the whole of the demo code had to be smaller than 4096 bytes:
