Time Lapse on GH3

Hey guys, based on limitations of storage (I.e. 64GB) or battery length, what is the maximum possible duration of capturing time lapse footage? Accordingly, the GH3 can go 500 shots on its standard battery length, which only seems like just over 8 minutes of real time with electronic exposure at 1 shot per seconds, but this seems too short. What is the maximum time length you've managed to capture? Thx!
