Quite minir improvement. Still can't shoot 3D photos for unknown reasons.

The Sony TD30V replaces the TD20. Per the rep and my estimate, the TD30 returns to the 30mm stereobase separation. Price is lowered to US$999.95. Main changes are external SD card only now, no more internal memory for that. And the parallax adjustment has moved on to a menu item - its pretty straight forward user interface - provides both auto alignment and manual adjustment of parallax.
In 3D, the lens is as wide as 33mm full frame equivalent and in 2D its 29mm equivalent.
Good thing here is changing back interexial distance to 30mm, same as TD10.
I was thinking about picking up either the TD30V or the TD10 for fun. I notice that the 3D resolution for both cameras is interlaced only at 2x 1920x1080/60i (2D movies do have progressive format).
Given the way 3D is rendered back on a 3D TV, I'm not sure if interlaced format really matters.
@VK - How do you like your TD10?
TD10 is very good camera.
Just watch ebay for good offer.
As for 3D TV, on passive ones (that I prefer) it does not matter much really.
As far as I know non of 3D TVs accept 1080p60 frame packed. In fact they can accept only 1080p60 (interlaced or anamorphic 3D).
