The Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 60mm f2.8 ED Macro is an excellent performer in the optical department. Centre sharpness is outstanding from f/2.8 through f/8, with the f11 and f16 settings also being eminently usable. The borders are also very sharp.

The 60mm is a nice lens, but not a great lens. At the macro end, even the old 58mm Vivitar is better, and for most people the Sigma 60mm is as good, if not better. Having said that, the price is coming down. It isn't a lens I would add to my collection as it isn't great at anything, it's just very good. Both of these lenses are sharper than my extremely old Rokkor 58mm, although the Rokkor has very nice Bokeh.

The 60 is not my favorite lens. But Robin gets some great macro shots. I tested it against my 60mm Sigma and I actually slightly preferred the Sigma, but it isn't macro.
Olympus 60mm Macro compared to 75mm F1.8
Spoiler: The 75 is better and the Sigma 60 is cheaper and the Olympus is lighter & macro.
